After having selected the stone and having it installed, you need to begin caring for it. One of the ways to counter the vulnerability of the stone from staining is to seal it. This also helps with every day cleaning. There are two types of sealer available – penetrating and topical. While penetrating sealers penetrate the stone’s surface, topical sealers sit on top of it.
Remember, if you don’t really have to seal your natural stone, don’t!
